If i registered a .net for a forum discussing TV in general

Would you join it? (June 2004)

Hello fellow TV fans.

I was wondering, i have a bit of money to spend and i really want to register another website.

Now i know this forum is mainly based on TV presentation, but if i were to create a forum dedicated to TV in general, i.e. programs, films etc as well as TV Presentation, idents, mocks etc would you join it?

Just want to know before i waste my money Smile

Ta!

From experience, I doubt many people would join it to be honest.

I'd recommend spending your money on something else - it'd just be a waste in my opinion. Smile

I don't think you'd get many people from this forum or the TV Ark forum, becuase these already provide what you are talking about. I simply don't think people would be prepared to sign up to another site just to talk about the same things in triplicate.

However, you might get some people who haven't seen TV forum or TV Ark before. It's worth a shot - you won't know how many people will be interested in your site until you actually build it and see for yourself.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do nevertheless!

i'd start off with a free web host and free .tk domain to see how it goes, and if it works well, move it to a payed .net and better server. i'm in the process of trying ikonbaord to see if it works better then PhpBB before it gets moved to my proper host (ta. TML Very Happy ). Also i recomend you have a look at 101-network.comfor hosting options.

I wouldn't waste your money on that sort of forum.. Smile

Do it on something you can change whenever you want to..
