Wouldn't be too surprised if they'd cut the more respectable sections and relied solely on showbiz/Buzzfeed crap, ironically making more competition for themselves.

Agreed. I don't go there as often as I used to, and that's why. Far too many animations.

The forums are mostly just either TV licence/BBC bashing or far-right bigotry and racism these days. So there'll be little to miss if they go.

Not surprised - the revamp last year supposedly led to a significant drop in traffic, yet Hearst carried on running down the site anyway.

To be fair, there's some really good threads on there particularly in regards to sports rights and Sky/BT Premier League selections

Few are far between though. It's finding the good stuff in the sludge.
