Shouldn't you be glad of the extra publicity, Mr Tempest?
So you set up MagicTempest solely for the purpose of placing magic-based adverts on the website in a poor attempt to earn a few pennies? You do realise that you have no chance of even earning back the money your daddy spent buying you your precious domains and hosting.
RE : that last sentance. Copy it a couple of times and replace MagicTempest with DogTempest and CoolTempest.
PS. When will StupidIdeaTempest.com launch?
PPS. Reguarding that first sentance, I know your name isn't actually Mr Tempest, so don't pick me up on that point. Although, from what I've seen of your previous posts, you probably will anyway.
I was thinking that... what exaclty is the point in cooltempest.co.uk?
For me leaning PHP
There is no index page now.
Stop talking about my site.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrgghh are you FOR REAL?
Why can I NEVER understand any of your posts?
Why do they all seem, pointless?
Do you really think people go to your sites or care what you do with them?
(my apologies to other members, I just had to get that of my chest)
And what the F is DogTempest.co.uk all about??????????????
You can actually make a reasonable amount of money from these ad companies. The only problem is you have to reach the £30 threshold before they send any money out.
I remember I used one and I think it was Tesco that gave you 1p for everyclick. Things like BT were giving you £2 per signup from your site etc. Loads of good ways to bring in money. My webhost runs a scheme like this for their own service where if someone signup to their service they'll pay you £40 or something near to it. (Depending on the package)
Edit: OH YES.. You need to have something half decent on your site to get the vistors to click.
So, if you set up a script to access that ad url over and over, couldn't you earn a lot of money?
You couldn't as it uses cookies
So then you just delete them!

It need to find the cookies, if it don't it wouldn't pay anyone.
Er, well a new visitor wouldn't have the cookies on there machine so that's crap... so if I turn on my brand new computer and go to your site, you won't earn any money. I don't think soooo.

Y'what? The affiliate website puts the cookies onto your computer when you click the banner, meaning that if you click it again on the same internet session, CoolT won't get paid any more money.

Err yes, and??? Then you just remove the cookie... (if its purely cookie based)
It's not as simple as that. They keep their own IP logs so spot themselves who's trying to drum up their 5 cents.
For some reason, Commission Junction have a habit of telling us we're doing so...when we're not.
Deary me.
