The issue is nobody travelling out of the station (King's Cross or St Pancras) uses it properly (whether they don't wait for the green man, or don't look before crossing - it is marked 'LOOK RIGHT/LEFT' on the ground).

And for many people from Continental Europe who arrive it the station, this may also be their first encounter with left-hand traffic (which takes some getting used to, despite those friendly reminders on the ground.)

Although possible, that junction is further up the road from the Eurostar arrivals - that's the Southeastern High Speed end

This is a little out of date as Nick now works for Sky News. As for the Twitter link, it takes you to someone else who now uses that handle.

Was it not the London Late Debate that Alastair presented? John Stapleton is taking over that from tonight...

Great scheduling going against Question Time...methinks not.

Clever scheduling actually in an election year. Nation's most popular channels showing Political programming at the same time, will catch some who would normally avoid.

He presented quite a few of them, I believe.

Indeed, but better than their old slot an hour later

According to an article on Media Guardian today, it seems ITV are planning to move ITV News at Ten. The article about ITV purchasing highlights to the Cricket World Cup says: ''The ITV highlights will be shown at 10pm each night and last between 60 and 90 minutes.''

If true, i'm angry that ITV would mess around with News At Ten in this way. No wonder BBC News at Ten consistently beats them in the ratings! If anyone would like to read the article, here it is: http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/27/itv-scores-cricket-world-cup-highlights
