I hope the hub stays. It's won quite a few innovation awards, hasn't it? I like the extra dimension it adds to the show.

I suspect it's one of those things people wouldn't actually miss if it vanished. If the show went Twitter free for a week apart from Schofield going into meltdown would it actually negatively impact upon the show?

The Big Breakfast used to refresh their decoration every autumn and re-decorate totally every other year.

Very classy! Wonder if The Hub will get the same type of makeover?

Like the new menu as well as the changes to the set.

The new set is lovely from what I've seen.

The bricks are a huge improvement.

New sofas and new colour scheme are lovely.

Much less tacky overall.

And judging by the ITV link above, Rylan is in today's hub, so it hasn't been axed.

Although, Phillip just read from the tablet, and Rylan has said on Twitter that he is in to talk about The X Factor.

Someone on Facebook said "it's a shame we have lost the hub, it made the show a bit more modern".

No he's in for the X Factor segment judging from his tweet last night!

The set looks lovely. The last one didn't really match in terms of colour. This set matches a lot more, a lot of nice colours and it looks very American. Very nice.

Noting that the News actually started at 10:57 and was directly introduced by Philip, no break or ident at all.
