After the Spanish Supreme Court decided that the government had illegally granted broadcast licenses to several Spanish broadcasters, several DTT channels will be closed down in May. Atresmedia (formerly Antena 3) have decided to close down Nitro, Xplora and LaSexta3 while Mediaset (Telecinco) will close down La Siete and Nueve.
It is (though the announcement at the start was from the presentation of the first three idents of this series, when the logo was made official).

The theme for these promos is that "Life is in motion, the world is in motion, you are in motion", and that "Globo is motion, to follow life, the world, and you", also referring to the new logo, which, for the first time in Globo's history, constantly appears in motion:

As per the poster above, when ERT first closed down - it's frequencies went blank. They were still able to broadcast via analogue before that eventually disappeared.
ΔΤ (which are the initials for public television in Greek) began broadcasting late summer and didn't originally use the ERT frequencies however this changed and they moved to the old ERT frequencies at the end of last year.
You then had DT1, DT2 and DT HD broadcasting on digital TV in Greece however they all showed the same feed. There was also EDT which was further down the channel list which again showed the same feed. So they're using the former ET1, NET, ET3 and ERT HD frequencies.
I left Greece on the afternoon NERIT began but to be fair, this isn't a real launch. All they've done is change the channel name to NERIT and add a new slogan 'Something new begins'.
The reason I say this is that NERIT was supposed to hire staff and then launch two regular and one HD channel for viewers in Greece. They were also to launch a satellite channel (similar to the old ERT World) for overseas viewers as well as several radio stations.
Instead this delayed launch was nothing but a rebrand of ΔΤ as they wanted NERIT on the air before the euro elections this month. This way the government could claim a success by Greece having a public broadcaster again.
But NERIT has no employees working for them (all the staff are the ones employed on temporary contracts when ΔΤ launched) and even these hirings seem to be no more or less suspect than the hiring policies at the old ERT.
I'm not sure if you guys have seen this but there is a documentary about the closing of ERT called 'The Lost Signal of Democracy'. It's been part of various film festivals across Europe and opened at a small numbers of cinemas in Greece on May 1st. I'm back in Greece next week so hoping it's still showing.

As a side note, Stavroula moved to ΔΤ to present the morning program and of course is presenting the same program on NERIT.
