I've no idea if anyone else will find this interesting or useful, but I was playing around with the Wayback Machine earlier and managed to come across some old BBC News 24 and BBC World schedules which I thought I would share.
These examples come from Thursday 12th February 1998:

There's so much to note here, looking back 15 years later. One thing that really strikes me is just how much 'filler' programming existed back then on both channels, but particularly BBC World. It's amazing to think that now both channels are effectively rolling news channels and programmes like Europe Direct and USA Today have long since bitten the dust.
Another interesting thing is "BBC News 24 UK". I guess this was a forerunner to UK Today? Funny how they brought back News 24 Tonight years later to bring a round-up of reports from the regions as a new innovation, when in fact it had already been done!
