..... and they need to watch their advertising minutage too, I know they're concentrating their breaks at the half hour but a single 5.5 minute break, earlier, seemed excessive and could easily lead to breaking the latest Ofcom rules.


There's no limit on length of individual breaks, but there is a limit on hourly advertising minutage.

Well, it's all change.

Refreshed lower thirds, a brand new set, but no new titles by the looks of things. Music still the same, and it's now in 16:9

I think you need to manually tune it in using the information above.

I've updated the page linked to above btw, with some more presentation, including Sports and Crosstalk...

The new RT studio looks really good, definitely the best thing about the new look. Graphically, the change is kinda minor, and is kind of a let down. But yeah, much better studio than the old one.

RT's advertising minutage IS the subject of a new Ofcom investigation, launched in December, reported in today's Broadcast Bulletin.
