NEWS at TEN - January 2016 Relaunch

I presume the large itv news at ten screen to the left of Tom during the credits was an error...?

Tom standing up in front of the desk for the coming up during the break with the large screen behind him, oddly he wasn't wearing a tie or suit either!

Isn't that the same as every preview he's done over the last 3 weeks?

Tom said last night that Julie will present tonight's programme. I wonder if Martin McGuinness's death means that Tom will present it tonight because of McGuinness's prominence in politics on these islands and the fact that Tom was Ireland correspondent for ITN in the mid-90s.

Do any of the stand in presenters adopt Tom's conversational style of presenting when they do News at Ten, or just present as a normal bulletin?

News at Ten back tonight in light of today's events

When you think about it Alastair is just as likely to inject his own opinions and personality into his delivery but he does it so much more naturally it's not really noticed.

Only sensible decision they could make, although certainly the Sky EPG hasn't yet been updated to reflect this, and ITV aren't normally very proficient at doing that.

A shame they'll throw away most of the football audience with nearly half an hour of analysis.

It updated here a while ago.

So the news is at Ten but it's not been allowed to be called 'News at Ten', and is still using the 10.30 titles.

Guess ITV don't want to admit News at Ten could indeed return.

By the time the programme started those 10:30 were nearly more accurate.
