Gorgeous promotion.

Probably nothing and I'm reading too far into it but everything is in squares for the periodic table, just like the logos of CBBC and BBC Three now are- in an ideal world this would be a quite nice nod to an incoming rebrand where all of the BBC is becoming 'squared' (does that make sense?) like rumoured.

Every single scene in that promo looks like it has had more thought put into it than not just the entire Oneness catastrophe but presentation across BBC1 and BBC2 over the last few years.

Reminds me of the promo they ran about a year ago with the tagline "There's more BBC than you think", where the blocks spin around showing different services the BBC provides. This effort is so much better though.

The tagline 'for all of us' sounds like a nod to 'You make what it is' with the BBC's brand refresh in 1997. Curious though.

That promo dig beg the question why was the BBC wasting time on Travel app/site. when its main role is Television and radio.

Yeah I really like the tagline. The "you're going to reap just what you sow" line and the little 'Start or Stop' button from Perfect Day also works in a similar way.

I see they've finally updated the ident on IPlayer with Exercise Class.

Ironic that its alternating with a trailer for a programme called 'Common Sense'.

That is a superb little promo - bold inventive, aesthetically pleasing: it's everything the BBC One "idents" are not.

Last Sunday, "Forest" was used for all political and News programmes. Yet it has now not been seen since. What was the point?
