Netflix adds ability to download shows for viewing offline

Interested to see how the quality of downloads compares to streaming and DVD/Blu-Ray.

Excellent, I'll download The Crown to my tablet, so I can watch on my way to work.

And soon, the how-to's will surface of lifting encryption...

My internet went down last night. At first, I was able to access my downloads and watched part of Stranger Things that I downloaded, incidentally the downloaded file is saved to my internal storage rather than the SD card.

However, when I switched my tablet back on, I couldn't access the 'My Downloads' part of the Netflix app, so couldn't watch again.

I've lost the ability to download shows.

I'm quite surprised some of Netflix's own aren't available for download yet. Checked to see if Fuller House was for available for download and it wasn't.
