ITV seem to be moving more toward programme companion apps. With X Factor, BGT & now I'm A Celeb with dedicated apps. They had one for the Rugby World Cup too. Ok for sport & entertainment perhaps but doesn't work for anything else really.
Yeah, they could have the Bridget Jones's Diary app and the Back To The Future app, in fact they could have an app for every film they repeat on ITV 2 in a constant loop, so you actually some use out of the app instead of using it just the once!
One person has commented that "I would very much like to be able to see a full cast list of your dramas etc. without having to trawl through search engines." - a good idea, BBC iPlayer does that.

PROGRAMME 1ST SHOWN DATES NEEDED! Stop Putting New Air Dates On Old Episodes
Old episodes always have new dates!!! A perfect example of this was a recent episode of Celebrity Catchprase. It was 1st shown in May 2013. Then again in June 2014, then again in September 2015 and most recently 14th November 2015 and has probably been repeated many more times. I don't mind repeats, but when you add new dates to make it look like a new episode when it isn't it's annoying. We end up having to watch all the adverts just to find out we've already seen it before!!! You need to add the original air dates like BBC iPlayer do instead of adding a new date everytime its shown again.
I hope they listen, because this is another good idea, and again, something BBC iPlayer already does.
So I see the ITV Hub app for iOS doesn't support AirPlay. I wonder if they've made an app for the new Apple TV instead? Quick look on Twitter and nope, and no plans to apparently, even if I was looking to buy one. And people wonder why I avoid these online catch up services like the plague (iPlayer being the wonderful exception of course). I only wanted to watch one programme, mind, but still.

I understand ITV Hub is on Amazon Fire and can be changed to 50Hz. Also on NOW TV/Roku boxes.

It's a joke isn't it? I have an Apple TV and the lack of an ITV app is tragic.
