Another broadcaster that based its format on CityPulse was TeleZüri, a local station for Zurich, Switzerland, in the mid-1990s (but they didn't use standing anchors and they got the pace all wrong):

Ha. totally forgot about Telezuri. There are some other programs they use the "City" format. And as you said WW, they completely got the pace completely wrong.

Telejournal and Journal are common news brands in many countries, but here's a rare example of a Telejournal- branded newscast from the U.S. -- WABI, Bangor, Maine, 1981:

If you missed it in the Brussels Attacks thread, here's a compilation of special report intros and other fragments from broadcasters in Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S.:

TJ Aparecida , TV Aparecida, Brazil, 2016 (relaunch, with the move to HD and to midday broadcasts, from early primetime):

Primeiro Impacto , SBT, Brazil, 2016 (premiere edition):

The name was licensed from Univision, otherwise, it's a completely different newscast - starting from the fact the SBT's Primeiro Impacto is a morning newscast, while Univision's Primer Impacto is a late afternoon (and considerably tabloid) newsmagazine.

Also, SBT is Brazil's only major broadcast network still broadcasting their newscasts in SD.

However, SBT did have a newscast modeled after the original Primer Impacto between 2004 and 2005, when the network barely had a news department (a full-fledged operation was only reinstated in 2005, with the launch of their flagship newscast, SBT Brasil), but I can't find any video of said bulletin, branded Jornal do SBT - Primeira Edição (with a working title of "Jornal da Notícias").

A new look for France's largest news channel, BFMTV, to coincide with the switchover to HD channels on terrestrial TV in France, with a new 3D box logo and on-screen graphics.

And the BFMTV cube rotates like the old Fox News one from the early 2000s.

BFMTV on Zattoo Switzerland is still in SD disappointingly, although sister channel RMC Découverte is in 720p HD.

However Zattoo are streaming BFMTV upscaled at 720p, so they may change over on Tuesday as part of the switchover to MPEG4. It's also the case for other channels which are due to change to HD on TNT DTT including D8 and NRJ12.

Some other caps showing the changes in SD.

Yes it appeared to still be SD on most of the platforms showing on digitalbitrate.com

I think the HD switchover on DTT in France is tomorrow - SD DVB-T muxes closed and all replaced with DVB-T2 muxes , with all but two of the 31 channels in HD.
